Affiliate disclosure

Hoang Hiep takes part in affiliate programmes. When an article links to a retailer and a reader buys something, this site may receive a commission. The reader pays the same price either way.

What this changes

Nothing about the verdict. Concretely:

• The pick is decided and written before any link is added.
• Commission rates are not compared between products, and are not a criterion in any article.
• Products with no affiliate programme are included and can win. Several have.
• No manufacturer pays for placement, a review, or a score.

How links are marked

Every affiliate link carries rel="noopener nofollow sponsored", which tells search engines it is a commercial link, and sits next to a visible disclosure in the page itself.

Prices

Prices are recorded on the date shown next to them and go out of date quickly. The retailer's page is always the authority.
